If you need a particular map, the best place you can search for it is of course the Internet. You can easily find tons of links to different mapping resources just querying any search engine. Below presented just a few selected sites, which either offer really good and compehensive map collections, or have maps particularly suitable for MapMap.   Really comprehensive collection of downloadable maps. Links to other mapping resources.
• United Nations Map Department
  Basic country maps (major cities and transportation) in PDF format. Around 100 countries (mostly, "less-known", so to say).

  Basic outline map coverage for entire world - from world, thru continents, to countries and US states.
